Management

Health Monitor Network is led by a seasoned team of professionals with stellar industry credentials.

placeEric Jensen, Chief Executive Officer
Eric has more than 21 years of experience in healthcare communications. He began his career in medical publishing by launching Today in Medicine, a series of journals that monitored and reviewed the current medical literature for doctors. His 10 years in medical publishing provided a valuable understanding of physician interests and needs.

In 1995 he launched Health Monitor Network, a leading multimedia consumer/patient-education publishing company. The company’s many publications are distributed in physician offices and to patient homes around the country to promote and support a continuing educational dialogue between patients and their doctors. Health Monitor has the largest physician-requested point-of-care network in the U.S., with 200,000 medical offices that represent 300,000 physicians along with tens of thousands of nurse practitioners, diabetes educators and physician assistants. Health Monitor Network successfully integrates physician and patient education along with database development and marketing.

Eric holds a BA and MA degree from Columbia University and lives in Westchester County.

The majority of Mike’s more than 30 years in healthcare have been with Roche Laboratories, where—after a successful sales career, during which he won President’s Achievement Award at both a sales and a sales management level—he moved into marketing, first as a Market Research Analyst on launch and mature brands, then later as Product Manager, launching a brand into the neurology marketplace with responsibilities for tactical development and national program implementation. Then, as a Product Director, he went on to launch two more brands in the primary care and consumer and influenza marketplace. His responsibilities included launch training, strategic and tactical development, and execution. More recently, Mike was Group Publisher for UBM Medica, responsible for the pharmacy and managed care markets. Prior to UBM, Mike was Vice President of Sales for D&R Communications, Marketing and Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for The Kinetix Group, where he was responsible for leading all aspects of marketing, branding and sales.

An RN with a BSN in nursing, Mike brings to Health Monitor Network a proven track record of successfully leading and growing a nationally deployed sales team, a strong desire to excel, and a strong focus on coaching, motivating, directing and leading salespeople to optimal performance.
